VOLUNTEERING with FOOD from the SKY?
Are you interested in being part of this exciting initiative? Then join us.
We’re always welcoming extra hands in the garden to help with seeding, planting out, developing, beautifying, general maintenance etc. If you have a little spare time we’d love you to join us at any of the times below. No gardening experience necessary but appreciated!
Come and join us on our volunteering working days:
- TUESDAYS:Tuesdays from 10.00 to 13:00 (complete session) will focus on supporting and replenishing the garden – sowing, planting, weeding, building, seed saving etc…
Tuesday’s session starts with a welcoming space to check in and discuss tasks at 10:00 – so please be on time if you can!
- FRIDAYS: Fridays from 9.00 to 16:00 (Drop in anytime) with Jack the grower.
Fridays we will be harvesting the fruits of our labour to share with the local community through Thornton’s Budgens Supermarket 10 meters below – Learn about Grow and Sell!
- First Saturday of the month 12noon to 4pm on the roof for general work, focussed re-skilling activities and bring lunch to share
2013 is our third year of learning and sharing the ancient art of food growingon the roof! We are looking forward to meeting and growing with you!
