Sunshine, new products, special offers and more

So, finally we see the sun! A great relief after having the garden plagued by slugs, snails and wet, wet conditions for the last couple of months! (yes, believe it or not – snails and slugs do find their way up to the roof!)

What can we make with these bits and pieces?

If you’re a regular FOOD from the SKY customer, you’ll be pleased to hear we can now offer you a bit more choice in addition to the usual salady-goodness…our summer harvests are finally bearing fruit and we now have courgettes, beans and more herbs available in the shop! Yay!

Also, it’s not too late to grow your own as well…we still have a wide selection of plants for sale, and until the 6th of August we have a special offer of 2 for £3 on any selection of the following plants: squash, tomatoes, pumpkin, courgette, french beans, parsley and pick & come again salad pots.

Team effort – a practical and beautiful climber support

On Saturday 21st we had a great session as part of our seed2seed course…this months topic was Beauty in Sustainability – about upcycling, how to bring reused items into your garden and generally encouraging creativity.

We had interesting discussions about what sustainability means to us, and how we can incorporate aspects into our daily life.

We then got some practical demonstrations – learning what tools are useful to support creative upcycling in the garden…and from there we started to put our learnings into practice!

What beautiful, adventurous and practical structures were created!  A real team effort, it was a joy to watch.
