We are launching seed2seed – A year foundation course for individuals wanting to ‘Grow Life and Food in our most cemented places’!

January Harvest!

MARCH – Soil, Sun and Water + containers

Learn about soil, loam, compost, wormeries,  the living organisms of soil and natural fertilisers ( nettle, comfrey etc…). Start planning your growing year.

APRIL – Planning + planting

Plan your growing year and prepare your containers.

MAY – Urban biodiversity (guest speaker)

Learn about our urban biodiversity & how to support and increase our pollinators environment. Make a bug or a bee hotel.

JUNE – Permaculture (guest speaker)

Learn how to design food growing systems that works with nature.

JULY – Create beauty in Sustainability

Create beautiful and sustainable growing spaces.  Collect rain water, explore skips, recycle, re-use, arts, crafts, waste network and up-cycle.

SEPT – Biodynamic (guest speaker)

Learn about the influence of the moon, planets and water on your crop for a better yield & planning your winter crop.

OCT – Harvest,  Preserve and collect seeds

Learn how to preserve, dry and collect your own seeds for next year. Harvest Festival on the roof!  Learn to harvest your own food  throughout the course.

NOV – Plan next year

Plan next year for successful growing. Plans, support, resources, community, further learning, funding, network and seeds!

DATES: One monthly session from March to November. The course will not run in August.

* Tuesdays 10 am to 3 pm OR
* Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm OR
* Evening courses on Thursdays 6 pm to 8:30pm (from May)

COSTS: The course is a full year programme  & is limited to 16 people per course. The cost includes 8 sessions, course work, free organic seeds and access to a vibrant network of London food growers and seeders of change.

£480 /year for 8 sessions=£60/day per person

Please contact us if you need to discuss a reduced payment. If you are a high earner and able to pay more, please consider doing so. Your generosity will enable us to make the course available to those on lower incomes.  We have a couple of bursaries available.
